We have two full time, permanent vacancies for a Panel Fabricator and a Wood Machinist (both making table tops).
Competitive pay plus monthly profit share bonus scheme (which normally averages 50p/hour dependent on company profits). Opportunity for overtime when we're busy (x 1.5 pay). The pay rate increases every year on 1st April.
25 days holiday + bank holidays.
The Panel Fabricator role in our Laminate and Veneer department involves using machines such as straight and profile edgebanders, a hot press, edge sanders, mitre saw, hand routers and orbital sanders with the opportunity to operate more machines as your skills develop. Experience of operating a CNC router would be a distinct advantage.
The Wood Machinist role in our Hardwood department involves using machines such as a cross cut saw, rip cut saw, cabinet sander, edge sanders, linishers, a spindle moulder, band saw and orbital sanders with the opportunity to operate more machines as your skills develop.
Some woodworking or manufacturing experience is necessary for both roles and training will be given on our standards and processes. We manufacture hardwood, laminate and veneer tables for several markets including many well known restaurants, cafes and universities.
